Faden Quartz grows between 2 exsisting rock formations, the quartz fills the gap, connecting both rocks forming a 'Thread' or 'Quartz string' and then a secondary layer of quartz grows ontop of this and crytallizes.
 
It is some of the oldest Quartz known, containing ancient Earth energies encapsulated within its core thread. With a secondary layer of crystal that allows life force energy to be channeled from within this crystal structure into the body.
