Howlite is my go to ‘calm’ stone,  it helps calm the throat so communication is more grounded and balanced.  It helps eliminate anger, pain and rage from your energy body. And its a wonderful crystal to sleep with underneath your pillow, its also gentle and grounding enough for children.
 
It supports patience and perspective, it helps you slow down, so you can be more mindful.  When placed at your crown it will absorb and clear others 'noise’ from your aura, as well as helping to settle any monkey mind.  It connects strongly with the mental field, strengthening your memory and stimulates a thirst for knowledge.
 
It facilitates awareness and encourages emotional expression.
 
Howlite balances calcium levels in the body, its chalky white appearance is also known as magnesite, Magnesite is a stone that i like to work with on the third eye to link third eye to pituitary gland, it aids inner sight (clairvoyance) and regulates the pituitary, which is a very important gland to decalcify. 
 
Howlite’s calm, grounded and slow energy works well with blue lace agate, celestite and rose quartz and would be perfect to have in the bedroom to stimulate a calming restful sleep.
