I discovered this in Tucson, I have never seen anything like it before and had to get some for you to try it's been such a lovely sweet and light energy to work with through higher heart healing.   
 
Given the name Lilac Quartz quartz because it has a slight opalescent and watery look and feel, it's very feminine, sometimes it reminds me of andara glass with its slight opalescent look in the light.  It feels similar in energy to Lavender quartz, which is a darker form of rose quartz, all loving and tender.  
 
It has  high level of titanium or manganese within it which gives in this rich Lilac tone. its great to improve for low self esteem or low confidence.
Its giving it an angelic energy, it softens its energy further and brings the angels close for healing.
 
Its energy likes to sit gently at your crown to open and activate it gently,  this piece sings, it literally uses angelic tones to clear the crown, while it brings down and establishes the pink ray through yoru higher chakras, to crown and into your higher heart. 
 
It whispers of 'unfolding and awakening to the promise of new love'...I feel a real sense that this stone wishes to help its guardian establish a new loving relationship.
 
Alot of its metaphysical properties are similar to rose quartz,  it  massages the higher heart a bit more and links in with the energy flowing from your crown.
