This Black tourmaline (schorl) with Fluroite  from Namibia, particularly the Erongo Mountains, is a highly prized  mineral specimen. It features jet-black, lustrous tourmaline crystal  with  glassy hyalite that glows a brilliant, intense green under UV light.
 
I have added a photographic example of the yellow UV looks like.
 
Everyone should have a piece of black tourmaline in their collection for strong and earthed protection, this slice is perfect to place on the body. I have a strong preference for the black tourmaline from Namibia,  Africa.  Over Brazilian tourmaline, there is more of a depth to this energy that is full-bodied and holds you so well.  Recently more of us are turning to this stone for all around strong earth grounding and protection.
 
Tourmaline has the ability to dampen and guard from EMF's- keep around a computer or your body to block any static coming from your phone/laptops.
