Oregon sunstone is so special because it can flash a wide range of colours and optics effects due to the presence of metallic copper and aluminium inclusions.  This piece has a copper flash through the middle, that and the clarity makes it a higher grade then others on the shop.  Sunstone is  formed, shaped and crystallised in a lava flow and closely related to moonstone.
