I just love working with Ruby because its energy is pure vitality, passion, motivation and optimism. This is no surprise as it is a stone of the Red Ray and acts as a stimulant to the Root Chakra, whilst at the same time opening up one’s heart to expand with the higher frequencies of divine love.  I also find at this time it steps up for service with in womens womb spaces, to work along side re balancing sexual energy and and imbalance there together with Garnet.
 
Working with or wearing ruby is great for bolstering your self-confidence if you are feeling wobbly or unsure, particularly about your life’s path. It can act as a compass, steering us towards our ‘true north’ in that sense, and promotes feelings of “I can do this” when it comes to overriding the inner critic and eradicating negative self-talk.
 
It is beneficial in overcoming sexual dysfunction or the trauma of sexual or power abuse and suppressed anger in this life or past lives.
