Prasiolite, also known as Vermarine or Green Amethyst, is quite simply Green Quartz. This gem can be formed naturally, it is often produced by carefully heating Amethyst or Citrine, a technique mastered at the Montezuma mines in Brazil.
It was first discovered in the early 1800’s in Silesia, Poland, most of all prasiolite comes from the Minas Gerais region of Brazil.
Your piece has been heat treated in Brazil, but I do not feel this impedes the energy, if anything it has enhanced it.
